In Arizona, Joe Biden leads Trump in Pennsylvania
The counting of votes in the US presidential election is still going on and everyone is waiting to see who will be the new president of the United States.
In Arizona, where 90 percent of the vote has been counted, Biden has the upper hand over Trump, while in Pennsylvania, 96 percent of the vote has been counted. Here, Trump has the upper hand over Biden.
In Georgia, 99 percent of the vote has been counted, with Joe Biden leading Trump.
Biden in Nevada and Trump in North Carolina are ahead.
According to the American channel Fox News, so far Joe Biden has received 264 and Trump 214 electoral votes.
According to the New York Times, The Washington Post and CNN, Biden currently has 253 electoral votes.
Fox News has declared Biden the winner from Arizona, where the number of electoral votes is 11. Candidates need 270 electoral votes to become president.
Trump’s election rigging allegations
Joe Biden’s rival, current US President Donald Trump, has announced that he will file a lawsuit in Nevada, the fourth state after Michigan, Pennsylvania and Georgia, following allegations of electoral fraud.
A court in the US states of Georgia and Michigan has rejected the allegations made by Donald Trump’s team.
A written decision by the Michigan court will be released today (Friday).
There are 16 electoral colleges in Michigan, with Biden leading in Michigan, according to unofficial results.
