He added that the lack of content in quality courses, lack of opportunities for advanced education in the local language and lack of role models are some of the factors that prevent the youth community from dreaming of a career in computer science. There is talent and passion among the youth, but there is no opportunity. We are aware of this division. “
Agarwal noted that more than one million young people have job opportunities in the United States, Britain, Canada and France after taking the Amazon Future Engineer course. He added that Amazon would work hand-in-hand with the central government and non-governmental organizations to promote computer science education in India from an early age. It is learned that Amazon’s computer science course in India will initially be available to students from class VI to class XII. There will also be training on computer science for teachers and educators. So that they can teach the students better.

Considering the local nuances, the curriculum has been made relevant for government school teachers and students. Apart from the basics of coding, various courses including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing will be taught in Indian languages. There will also be a ‘class chat’, through which students will have the opportunity to talk to Amazonans to understand their careers in the technology industry. There is the ‘Amazon Cyber โโRobotics Challenge’, where students will learn the basics of programming while coding robots and learn how to deliver millions of products around the world using Amazon Robotics.
