Oppo Find N has been announced as Oppo’s first foldable phone. Pete Lau, Oppo’s Chief Product Officer, unveiled the company’s first commercial folding smartphone in a letter to the media. Like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series, the new Oppo Find N phone has an inward folding design.
Based on the teasers of the recently released Oppo Find N phone, this phone seems to have 2 different OLED displays including a metal finish and foldable as a primary option. Oppo is also expected to offer its proprietary software experience to provide a unique user experience.
This new smartphone comes as a result of 4 years of research & development by Oppo. Pete Lau, OnePlus’s CEO and founder of Oppo, has announced the development of the new folding smartphone Oppo Find N, which has generated great anticipation among consumers. This new phone model is said to be simple in design and easy to use.
Pete Lau claims that with this new phone we have solved the major problems of the previous foldable smartphones such as the display and overall lifespan of the foldable device.
The teaser video released by Oppo to provide an overview of the upcoming Oppo Find N runs for 15-seconds. Shows sleek bezels on both its cover and foldable display. Similarly the phone seems to have at least one hole-punch design for its foldable display.
Underneath its top display may be camera technology. And on top of that there may be an under-display camera technology. More specific teaser video shows that this phone comes with a USB Type-C port and a side-mounted finger sensor. It has been announced that this new device will be released on December 15th during the Oppo Inno Day. The company showcases its next generation products at the Oppo Inno Day.
