German luxury car maker BMW today unveiled its first luxury luxury sedan BMW iX in India. Vehicles can be booked through BMW dealerships in major Indian cities as well as through the company’s website. Delivery of the BMW iX will begin in April 2022. BMW iX’s BMW iX xDrive40 model has an ex-showroom price of Rs. 1 crore 15 lakh 90 thousand.
The BMW iX is set to hit India with other luxury electric vehicles such as the Porsche Taycan, Mercedes-Benz EQC, and Audi e-tron.
The BMW iX will be available in Mineral White, Phytonic Blue, Black Sapphire and Sophisto Gray. Of course, anyone who wants to get a BMW Individual Aventurine Red metallic paint metallic paint finish will also get it.
The BMW iX has a sensor, camera and radar tech with a grille, proximity sensors on the body teeth, flash door opener under the front logo, camera on the rear logo and other features.
Other features include BMW Curved Glass Display, hexagonal steering like racing car, electrochromic glass roof, multifunctional seat and 1650 liter luggage capacity.
The BMW iX features BMW eDrive technology, single speed transmission and power electronics. The BMW iX 326 horsepower can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph (0 to 100 kmph in 6.1 seconds) per second in just 8.1 seconds.
With the ‘My Modes’ option, driving mode can be changed to Personal, Sports or Efficient mode.

The BMW iX has a 12.3-inch digital information display and a 14.9-inch control panel display. The BMW iX will have a 16-speaker Harman Kardon Surround Sound System with 16 speakers.
The BMW iX comes with a standard warranty for two years of unlimited kilometers. The batteries are covered by a valid warranty of eight years or up to 160,000 kms. The benefit of repair warranty can be extended from the third year of operation to a maximum of five years without any mileage restriction.
