Two new Yamaha motorcycles coming to the Indian market! Would love to see one

Yamaha: This great Yamaha motorcycle is coming to the Indian market in April!

Good news for Indian customers. Because the popular Japanese two-wheeler brand Yamaha will launch two new bikes in our country. It is known that Yamaha is going to launch their new 2 bikes in India this year. One of which is the 2023 FZ-X with new emission norms compliant MT15 V2 and dual channel ABS.

The second generation model of MT 15 bike was launched last year itself. The price of which starts from Tk 1.64 lakh (ex-showroom). But the A-bar model is going to comply with the second phase of the BS-6 policy for pollution control. Which is going to be available across the country from April this year. Let’s take a look at all the details of the new 2 bikes from Yamaha company.

Recently, Honda became the first car manufacturer in the country to add advanced features to its best selling scooter Activa 6G, to comply with the new emission norms. But, apart from the second phase of BS6 update, MT15 V2 is not expected to have much of a change. Price may increase slightly due to engine upgrade.

The naked streetfighter is powered by a 155 cc single cylinder liquid cooled VVA engine. Which produces a maximum power of 18.1 bhp and a torque of 14.1 Nm. Mated to the powertrain is a six-speed transmission. The list of MT15 V2 includes USD front fork, LED lighting, a digital cluster, dual channel ABS system and other features

On the other hand, the upcoming Yamaha FZ-X will have a metal frame attached to the head lamp. The RE Himalayan will get a similar fuel tank, new windscreen, and new front fenders. It will have the same 149 cc single cylinder engine as before. From which maximum power of 12.2 bhp and 13.3 Nm of torque will be produced.

The engine will be mated to a five-speed transmission. It is believed that there will not be any change in the features of the bike. Instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity, tubeless tires can be used. Dual channel ABS can be added as a notable feature.

Apart from this, it is believed that golden color or gold colored alloy wheels can be seen on the front and back side. Currently the ex-showroom price of Yamaha FZ-X is Rs.1.36 lakh. The price of the new version is likely to increase by Rs 5,000.
